It is 9:22 AM. I am exhausted... Kyle and I stayed up until midnight talking. I feel like we never see each other during the week. Once the work day finally ends and dinner has been eaten we barely have a few minutes before bedtime routines and me heading off to my job. It sucks... a lot.
Anyway, besides being exhausted I have to talk in sacrament this Sunday. I have known for a few weeks, but besides thinking about it while doing my monotonous mopping 6 days a week I decided to wait until this week to really start.
It is not working. Deakon doesn't nap anymore so I have his wonderful company ALL DAY LONG. Of course, Nixon has decided to take 3 regular naps as soon as we took Deak's away. So, everytime I get out my reading material, my notepad, or type in lds.org or any other such website he runs as fast as his little legs will carry him to sit on my lap, tell me how thirsty or hungry he is, or quickly slam the laptop shut or my books if I turn my back ever so slightly. I am so irritated. They should probably un-ask me to talk so I don't get up and there and ruin the day for everyone.
Pray for me...
Welcome to our blog. We hope you enjoy the funny, gross, awkward, and happy events in our lives!!!

5 years...
A few weeks ago we celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Yay for us. We went to the Infusion Restaurant for dinner followed by drum roll please..... a movie. Exciting eh? Hey, getting away by ourselves is always a good time. I was really hoping to get a picture of us... and Kyle allowed ONE. Here is it... how lucky am I?

Honestly, I expected such ridiculous picture taking etiquette, so Deakon and I took it upon ourselves to take our own pictures.

Nixon is 4 months!
My little Nixy Noodle is getting so big! These past 4 months have flown by. We had his 4 month appt this morning and here are his stats.
18 lbs. 4 oz. (95%)
26 inches tall (90%)
I can't remember his head number(45 cm maybe?), but it was 90% also
Dr. Cote said he was looking good and healthy. He can roll over both ways (just started back to stomach this week) and has really started holding and playing with toys in the past 2 weeks. He ALWAYS- annoyingly- takes his soother out of his mouth and occasionally can get it back in there. He is a big "talker" and can get so darn loud that we can't hear him over each other or the TV. He mostly likes his little bumbo, but can almost launch himself out when he gets tired of sitting (does anyone else have this issue??? It's almost dangerous!) He is pretty happy now, not screaming with gas pain so much. He does still have the loudest and smelliest farts ever, but he is a boy, so that is to be expected. Ha ha... your mom just made fun of you. He loves bath time and never gets upset by being splashed by Deak. Deakon is still his favorite person. He has recently become obsessed with watching and smiling at Kyle. We love this little boy so much!
