Hi

Ya, so yesterday sucked. Oh well. That's life. Those statements I made were true for my house, but that is how I felt about the world in general. Kyle and I didn't feel good. Kyle was home from work with a massive headache. I HATE when Kyle is home sick. Sorry, I do. Am I the only stay at home mom that feels this way? It messes up everything. EVERYTHING. And it made me angry that I wasn't feeling well either, but of course I had to just keep going on and taking care of everyone. I am selfish.

Anyway, today is a new day. Kyle is at work feeling much better. I am determined to finish my bedroom baby prep and find my blasted ring. I am eating a delicious gluten free Udi's bagel with lots and lots of cream cheese and it is so good. Tonight I ditch out on bedtime and hang with my lady friends pretending to care about Tupperware.

Today is good. Only 1 week until the official due date, but of course, you know to pray that Quinn will wait until October. Please. My mommy doesn't come until October 8th and I just want my way. I'm allowed. I am great with child.

Nada

Everyone is tired. Everyone is unappreciated. Nobody really gives a crap. That's just how it is.

Blogging on the ipad

Not so much fun. I would show you why, but I am not so awesome at using this so I can't figure out how to steal the picture of our broken laptop screen from facebook. Short version, my little stinker, who I love so very much used his lovely big feet and 30 pounds of muscle to jump on top of our computer and break the LCD screen. Apparently a new one can be purchased, at a cost of almost 100 bucks so we will see. There are lots of new expenses coming up in the next few weeks so this will have to wait. Speaking of expenses, I love my new car! And we are absolutely love love loving that we purchased ron's old Tacoma for Kyle to use for work. We are never stuck at home and Kyle and I aren't arguing about my time management skills in the morning, or at lunch, or after lunch, or at the end of the day. One day he will understand that being 3-5 minutes late is still on time. Come on. I also spent $70 on diapers and wipes for 2 kids. Nixon's box will last a few weeks, but sadly the $20 worth of newborn diapers will maybe last a week. Boo. I hate buying diapers. I finally got the boys room cleaned out, which reminded me that deakon might actually need fall/winter clothes this year... Strange. Luckily I found the 2t stuff for Nixon to wear. I also lost his only pair of shoes. Who does that? I started tearing apart our room and closet only to decide to put lotion on. Which caused me to remove my ring and drop it in the mess. No, I havent found it yet. Sad. Today is my first day of maternity leave. I'm so excited to have nights off this week to finish up on last minute things. Moving our bedroom around and putting up baby stuff is first on the list. Oh wait, Kyle has a say. Which means that tonight will be spent shopping for deakon. I'm not surprised. Shopping is way more fun than cleaning. Down to 1%battery... Hows that for an update? Random.

It's September...

It's nice to be able to say that I am due "this month." Although, between you and me and everyone else in the world that asks (or cares...) I want Quinn to come October 1st... Saturday October 1st.
10/01/2011
The first day of October. Ok, fine, you get the picture. It is a good looking date, right? AND there are no people born in October (or November) in my family. Strange that with 30+ birthdays we miss out 2 whole months of the year. Football season? Maybe for my parents- although Joe and Danny were born the first week of September. School? Who knows...

Not the point I am trying to make.

A few things on my mind that I am looking forward to NOT dealing with in October:

Listening to "you better lube that thing up" while having my tummy pointed at by my dear, dear husband. Yes, I know that my stomach looks like a torpedo. Yes, I am concerned about getting nasty stretch marks. But guess what, it's almost week 37 and if they are coming, there is nothing I can do about it. I was nicely informed that maybe if I didn't walk around at night rubbing my belly with my shirt pulled up the comment would stop. Whatever. I can do what I want.

The heartburn. Oh... such awful heartburn. The acidic taste in the back of my throat or actually in my mouth when I bend over will not be missed at all. The only good thing about it is that it has only been unbearable the last week or so when she has moved diagonally head down and is kicking my stomach. At least she's head downish.

The personal guilt I have when I drink that blasted coke... so glad that McDonald's is done with their dumb $1 summer drink days on Monday. So hard to pass up... so ice cold and deliciously cokey. Who is the horrid person who will not put caffeine free everything into the fountain drinks? I don't like you.

And last, but certainly most important is this whiney bad attitude that you have now gotten a little taste of. Come back old Angi. Please. The boys really miss you. Kyle misses you too.

A few months ago I overheard Deakon tell Nixon over breakfast, "I really wish Mom wasn't so grumpy." Me too buddy.

Some day... soon?
