Today Deakon and I got out to explore downtown Cochrane a bit. We made our way into The Bargain Shop... and it is basically my new favorite place!!! Yesterday, I spent the afternoon looking up craft ideas of Deakon. I hear about all of the fun things kids Deakon's age are doing and wonder why I am holding him back. Probably because I have a lack of imagination and am worried about making a huge mess. It makes me feel really guilty so as of today we are going to be more crafty! At the store, we found bubbles, 3 huge coloring books, sidewalk chalk, and an etch-a-sketch... all for 8 bucks! Score for me. That will get us started, but I am still planning on buying yarn, paint, paper plates, scissors, and construction paper. Now, I am not quite sure what I am going to do with all of these supplies, but I will think of something. If you have any great craft ideas or favorite websites please let me in on them!

I have been checking out this blog lately...okay like everyday. There are a lot of great crafts, books, and just fun ideas. Most of her activities she does with a little boy too so they might be right up his ally! Watch out I have spent hours on here searching the index for fun things to do.
