African Lion Safari

Wednesday we woke up and headed to the African Lion Safari. We met up with Kyle's aunts and some cousins. It is similiar to the zoo, but in addition to the train ride, boat ride, and attractions to walk around and see (birds, pet's corner, elephant round up show) you can also drive your car, or take a guided bus tour through the game reserve. It was so awesome to drive through. The animals are literally walking in front of the cars. It is crazy. We chose the bus tour so we wouldn't get in trouble from the car rental company....

Kyle, Angi, Deakon on the boat ride. We rode around and saw several species of monkeys and birds on their own islands

Grandma and Grandpa

Walking around...

LIONS

Baboons... there are like over 100 (or something- I might be making that up) baboons and they climb all over the cars and rip windshield wipers and anything else they can get their hands on. On the far side of the car is the head honcho sitting on the side window- he weighs over 100 pounds(not making that up... I remember...)

Scoping out his next car...

This Ostrich was pecking at our window

Elephant Roundup Show- Deakon absolutely loved it!

An hour southwest of Toronto. In the city of Cambridge I am pretty sure.
