Cookie Monster
This week has been hard on Deakon. He was sick on Tuesday and has been acting out a lot. I keep getting told (which I hate because it makes me feel like a bad mom) that he is BORED and needs to get out or do something new. So... last night when I got a craving for Grandma DuPaix's Chocolate Chip Cookies, I knew that it would be fun for us to do together. And... it was. He absolutely loved adding flour, attempting to break eggs, and helping me mix the dough. Oh, and his favorite part was that I gave him a handful of chocolate chips just for him to eat. This will definitely have to be a repeat, yummy cookies and a happy cookie monster.

Hey girl! Thank you so much for your comment, it meant a lot. I just wanted to tell you how excited I am for you to run the 10k!! That is HUGE!! And plus, those races are so fun you will do so great! And CONGRATS on running those 2 miles, that really is so awesome. Keep it up. And keep me updated on your progress, I love talking about the hoorahs and the bumps of getting somewhere. Bla, bla, bla... sorry for blabbing but all I wanted to say was thank you, that meant a ton!
I can't believe how big Deacon is getting and those cookies look delicious! Hope that you guys are doing good up in Canada!
