This past Saturday we drove an hour and a half into the middle of nowhere hoping to find dinosaurs and a mini grand canyon stuck in the prairie. What is this magical place? Oh, just the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Justin and Jenn had asked us to go before (sad that the couple with no kids would think of something fun) but we didn't have a chance until now. I was so glad that we did. Deakon liked it for the most part, but it was a bit slow moving (lots of reading, not enough action!) and after about 40 minutes he wanted out of his stroller (definitely not happening at this place, he would be gone like Flash and we would never see him again). I personally loved it! It was so interesting and I hope maybe we can go again in a year when Deakon is older and can listen and stay with us... don't you dare tell me that I am in a fantasy land, 3 years is much easier than 2, right??? I had to include about a billion pictures (some not so good because the lighting was so dim) so enjoy!
On the drive:
We had a great time! Thanks for inviting us P-rudens.
Fetus update: I felt the baby move for the first time on the 13th! Only 2 weeks and 2 days until the ULTRASOUND!!!! My belly is getting bigger everyday. Take our poll at the top right if you haven't already!

Ah, man!! That looks super fun. I havent been to the Tyrell museum since like grade 10. Im glad all y'all had fun. Im sure Deakon loves Dinosaurs now after visiting there.
Is Justin really that tall? I think he grew even more after he left Ontario!
Did all the snow melt that fast or was it before the snowfall...hard to keep up. Looks like a winner (except the pictures Justin took...kidding:)
You rock. And your little guy is adorable. Especially in that first picture.
And I wish I lived in Canada just to go to that museum. It looks like so much fun! I'm totally going to the one at Thanksgiving point soon just because of this post. :)
