Crazy Girl's Night!!!

Saturday was quite an eventful day! First of all, I need to thank my hubby for watching Deakon all day while I ran away and pretended that I was not a mom or wife for 15 hours!!! Thanks- I really appreciate you watching Deakon, even though he had some.... issues... ok, some nasty diarrhea... YOU'RE THE BEST!!! Ok, so on to Saturday. We had already planned to have Debbie's baby shower so we kept the date even though Luke was already here. It was actually really fun having the baby there. We should more showers like that. I think everyone liked seeing the baby! We had a good turn out- thanks to my sisters and mom for helping it be so fun!

We then had a few hours to spare (basically I slept on the couch and had nobody to worry about- how great was that!!!) before we started our girl's night that has become a tradition when Meri comes to visit from Chicago. We started the night by doing a Yoga Booty Ballet DVD. It basically mixes yoga, cardio, and ballet moves into 45 minutes. Here are some very nice pics of us going at it:

We had already decided that we were going to make some homemade Cafe Rio salads that Meri basically did for us. We (by we I mean mostly everyone else) put some pork on to cook in the crock pot that morning and by dinner time it was SO tender and yummy. Then we put together pico de galo, rice w/ cilantro, black beans, romaine lettuce, tortillas, and some spicy creamy cilantro dressing. The salads were so awesome- unfortunately I don't have pics, but you can imagine. After dinner we decided to use the Satin Hands product on our feet and then paint our nails. It was a good idea, but we forgot to get water to get the stuff off so we had to painfully crawl to the bathroom to wash it off. It was quite hilarious to watch everyone. We were crazy and hyper all night and as we were doing our nails Jeannie asked me, "So, does Kyle think you are crazy?" I was like, "What?!! Why?" and she explained, "You know, when you act like this." and I thought about it and said, "I try not to be like this because he thinks it is kind of annoying." I told lots of lame jokes, and said some naughty things like "Shut your pie hole" that my mom said was against her rules. It was great! So, here are some more pics. I don't know why our hands are in because we didn't do our finger nails at all, but oh well:

After our nails we played some Mormon Bridge and then finally wound down and went home and to bed. It was a great night- we missed Becky and Monica. Hopefully we will all be able to find a time to be crazy, loud, and hilarious together!!!
